An extract from bovine colostrum ("mother's first milk") that contains "infopeptides" that act as messengers to reeducate or activate the production of various cytokines and have a modulating effect on the immune system.* This is not a whole colostrum product and in fact researchers suspect these specific peptides may not be absorbed and utilized by an adult from a whole colostrum product. Cytolog® does not contain the larger milk proteins or appreciable amounts of lactose. The cows providing the milk used for Cytolog® are organic, range grazed in northern and southern California, without the use of hormones, antibiotics or pesticides. The immune system is a complex system involving communication between organs, tissues and chemicals.
