Laktoferrin is a specific peptide extracted from bovine colostrum ("mother's first milk") and possessing iron-binding properties. It has been shown to be involved in iron metabolism and biochemical processes in lymphocytes, as well as greatly impacting bacterial growth by regulating iron availability in the gut.* Obtained from the milk of Netherlands or New Zealand range grazed cattle, raised without the use of hormones, antibiotics and pesticides with 95% purity and 77.5-80.5% iron-binding capacity.*

	Special Information: Caution: Lactoferrin may act as an immune stimulant. The immune system is a complex system involving communication between organs, tissues and chemicals.
